How much does this service cost?

Service price(s) are available on our Services tab including types of packages available with out-of-pocket pay. Some of our services may be covered by health insurance. Please consult your insurance provider (customer service number on the back of your insurance card) to ask what services are covered under your health plan.

Can you provide proof of session attendance or a bill for my insurance?

We can provide a Super-bill which documents the date/type of session you attended as well as the fee charged. This is your responsibility to send to your insurance for reimbursement.

How long will my appointment be?

We offer appointments via individual sessions or through a package to accommodate your needs.

Nutrition: initial intake is about ~60-90 minutes, and follow up appointments are about  30-45 minutes.

What will happen during my first appointment?

To maximize time, before our first session,  I will review your forms, food questionnaires, and food preferences. During the appointment we  will discuss your relationship with food and exercise, and we will explore any barrier(s) to health and wellness you may have.

You will leave the appointment with nutritional short and long term goals, nutrition recommendation(s), and resources you will need to accomplish your goals.

The duration of your appointments depends on many factors: your goals, your readiness to change, your commitment to the process, support systems you have in place and so forth. Making long lasting changes takes time, consistent work, and perseverance. It takes 20-30 days to get used to any changes and a few more weeks to turn a change into new established habits. We encourage you to invest  2-3 months in this process for a  lifetime of wellness and wellbeing.

What will happen during my follow-up appointment?

Follow up appointments will be scheduled 1 weeks apart, and I will contact you in between appointments to provide guidance, support, and recommendations as needed.

As you progress, follow ups are spread out to bi-weekly or monthly contacts.

Each  session is tailored to your needs and goals and I will strive to provide realistic support for your food and health inquiries.

At the end of our program you will acquire the nutritional knowledge you require to make healthy food choices and to adjust your diet based on life changes and needs.
